Nasolabial Restoration

Nasolabial folds are the lines that appear between the nose and the corner of the mouth. Typically, these lines become more pronounced as we age. Nasolabial folds develop as a result of age related changes in the face. These include loss of facial fat (responsible for facial volume), bone changes as well as reduced skin elasticity due to the depletion of collagen. Besides the ageing process, nasolabial folds can occur due to excessive sun exposure, smoking and weight loss.

Nasolabial folds can be treated non-surgically through the placement of dermal fillers. The aim of nasolabial restoration is to soften the line by placing a small amount of dermal filler underneath the dermis of the skin. By ensuring we do not completely eliminate this line, we can provide beautiful natural results.
